We've updated the book examples to work with PHP 4.2. Visit this page for more information and downloads.
We've built a PHP 4.0 version of the winestore that uses the XTemplate class (which is discussed in Chapter 13 of the book) to separate code from HTML presentation. You can use the new version. You can also download a zip or tar.gz version. Follow these installation instructions. It's a beta release (last updated 10 May 2002).
